How a Turkish mobile number is built

Every Turkish mobile number is 10 digits after the +90 country code and always starts with 5. Written domestically it carries a trunk 0: 0 5XX XXX XX XX, 11 digits in total. So the same number appears as +90 532 123 45 67 internationally and 0532 123 45 67 at home - the 3-3-2-2 grouping is how most Turks write it.

Numbers are regulated by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK). The countryโ€™s official English name changed to Tรผrkiye in 2022, but the numbering plan and the +90 code did not change.

Operator prefixes at a glance

The three digits after the 5 show which operator originally issued a number:

Full number portability means the prefix shows the original operator, not necessarily todayโ€™s. This generator picks from the 50, 53, 54, and 55 blocks, so numbers look like they come from all three networks.

A note on the โ€œ555โ€ in these numbers

Turkey has no official block of fictional numbers, and here the siteโ€™s 555 marker doesnโ€™t help the way it does elsewhere: 55X is a real Tรผrk Telekom range. Every generated number has a valid Turkish shape, so it passes format checks, but treat it as test data, never as a number guaranteed to be unused.

FAQ

Will a generated number verify on a Turkish app like Trendyol or Getir? No. Those apps send a code by SMS to a real SIM, and a dummy number has no SIM behind it. Use generated numbers to fill and test the form, not to pass a real verification step.

Is it Turkey or Tรผrkiye? Both refer to the same country. Tรผrkiye has been the official English name since 2022; +90 and the numbering plan are unchanged.

Do the first digits tell you the operator? For a real number they show the original operator - 53X Turkcell, 54X Vodafone, 50X/55X Tรผrk Telekom - but portability means it may have moved since. For a generated number they mean nothing: it isnโ€™t assigned to anyone.

What you can use them for

What they are not

These numbers cannot receive SMS or OTP codes. They are not temporary, virtual, or disposable inbox numbers. If you need to actually receive a verification code in Turkey, you need a real SIM or a paid virtual number service - this is the wrong tool for that.

Is it legal to use a fake phone number?

Yes, for testing, demos, documentation, and mockups. Using any number - fake or real - to impersonate someone, commit fraud, or get around a verification step you're required to complete is not.

These numbers are randomly generated dummy data. They are not real, cannot receive SMS or OTP codes, and are not temporary or disposable inbox numbers. Use them for testing, examples, documentation, UI mockups, and seed data only.
