Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 21, 2026
FakePhone (fakephone.dev) is a free tool that generates random, fake phone numbers for testing and examples. This policy explains what data is and isn't handled when you use it. In short: the generator runs entirely in your browser, and the site does not ask for or store any personal information.
Information we collect
None that identifies you, directly. There are no accounts, sign-ups, or forms. The phone numbers are generated locally in your browser and are never sent to or stored on our servers.
Cookies and local storage
The core tool sets no cookies and does not use browser storage to track you. Any cookies that do appear come from the third-party services below (analytics or advertising), not from the generator itself.
Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate traffic (for example, which country pages are popular). This is anonymous and never tied to an individual.
Advertising
We may display ads served by third-party vendors, including Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.
Log data
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically records standard request information such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps for security and operational purposes. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
